The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program is a federal tax incentive program administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The SR&ED program is the largest federal government support program for research and development (R&D) in Canada. The SR&ED program is designed to advance the R&D efforts of Canadian businesses of all sizes and in most sectors in Canada. Through R&D activities, Canadian businesses can drive innovations that will lead to new, improved, or technologically advanced materials, devices, products or processes.
